Desmond's Story
Life
I spent two years(66, 68) in the Peace Corps in the West Indies on an island called Dominica, not to be confused with the Dominican Republic. I floated around for a number of years. I have settled in Denver, Colorado. I spent a year in Belgium working for American Management Services. The best time of my life. I helped install the billing and cutomer order system for Begliums new cellar phone system, Belgicom. I did a ironman triathlon(95), when I hit 50. njar when I'm sixty(04), some time next year(2005). I am married, but I have no kids of my own. I do have two step sons. I also have a grand daughter that is very special to me. I do volunteer work with Volunteers of Outdoors Colorado (VOC). We do trail construction and maintenance throughout Colorado. I have been working with them off and on now for about sixteen years now. I'm currently working for QWEST in IT. A shakie business. I'm hoping that it will last until I'm seventy, at which time I'll retire.
