Devin's Story

Life Hello! After our Graduation Cruise, I attended a terrific party that my family threw, slept for 2 hours and hopped on a plane to Alaska. That Monday I went to work for the Palmer G. Lewis Corporation in Anchorage. When the new Gold's Gym came to Alaska, I jumped at the chance to join it's management team and left PGL. This afforded me the ability to work in the world that I loved. Before the end of 1981 I had co-founded the Alaska Powerlifting Association and enjoyed several years of competitive powerlifting and bodybuilding.I won a few trophies along the way and had fulfilling experiences competing in the Teenage Mr. America and qualifying for the Mr. America by placing 3rd at the 1984 Mr. Northwestern America. A stupid but serious motorcycle accident prevented me from going to the America, but I had fun while it lasted. Although I still lifted, Karate took the place of heavy iron for many years. Now that I've surpassed 40 a birthday or two ago, I have begun to train seriously again and will step on stage for the first time in 20 years ne...Expand for more
xt October at the Washington Ironman Magazine Bodybuilding competition. This is the national qualifyer and I hope to go on to the Masters Mr. America in the near future. My son, Jonathan came 3 weeks early and was born while I was on stage at the Regional in 1984. He lived with me during all of middle school through his Junior year as his mother and I split early on.He's a terrific kid with a big heart and he plays a mean electric guitar. He graduated in 2002 from Lake Stevens High School.I'm very proud of him. I'm extremely happy living with my gorgious Italian girlfriend of seven years, Bridgette. I work for the J.F. Shea Corporation, which is the oldest existing builder in America and has had projects like the building of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Hoover damn. I'm a Community Representative at Trilogy and sell homes in an award winning Resort Golf Course Community in Redmond, WA. I hope that you are all having a fulfilling and enjoyable life and would love to hear from , well...almost anyone. Best Wishes, Devin Jon Sanford

Home now and doing good! Had three muscle tears and several bone spurs and they freed up my frozen arm so on the long road to recovery. 8 to 12 weeks before I can exercise beyond physical therapy. Good time to hit the tread
