Devon's Story
I married in May of 72 and left Henrietta around June of 72 after my fathers death. Moved to Orlando, FL and returned to Henrietta in September 72. Wages in Florida were really low. Ended up joining the U.S. NAvy in Jan. 73. I spent 24 years in the Navy retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. (second best thing I ever did). tired from Navy in 1997. Have traveled all over the world both with Navy and Juanita. Currently working for Honeywell as Sr. Marine Diesel Mechanic and United Steelworkers as Chief Steward for Local 9292 here in Jacksonville. It's been a long road and wouldn't trade any of it.
Have two beautiful daughters from 1st marriage and gobs of grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Yesterday (2/24/2012 was 81 degrees here) ------ loving it.
