Dezell's Story
Life
Okay, after graduating from Wilson in 1970 I attended Long Beach City College for a year and Cal State Long Beach for 1 year. I then left and went to New York City and that's when my life totally changed. I got involved with dance and later on danced with Chuck Davis African Dance group and studied with Alvin Ailey. I did some off Broadway shows and did some runway modeling. I decided to go back to school and graduated from Hunter College in 1983 with a BA in Liberal Arts Dance/Psychology minor. ied. I went to her wedding which was in Buenos Aires in 2/2006. Before that she was living in Barcelona Spain and I had the opportunity of visiting her there. Beautiful country. I presently work for OCTA in the Training and Development Department as the Training Coordinator and I absolutely love my job!! I skipped a lot of detail but this gives a brief encounter of Dezell. Oh, I now use my first name - Madeleine whicih most of you probably didn't know what it was being that I only used Dezell in High School. Well, if you want to really catch up you can always email me.
