Dian or Vivian's Story
Life
I am Dian Marshall Roof. I live in Cleburne, Texas. I have been in Cleburne since December 1979. I have two daughters, four grandaughters and one grandson. They all live in Cleburne. I have kept all five grandchildren since the oldest (15yrs.) was born. They will all be in school this year. The five year old will start kindergarten. My life revolves around them. My mama died October 7,
2002. That was the week of our 35th highschool (1967) class reunion.
April 16, 2007--- My daddy died August 7, 2006..........I miss my parents very much.
I started working with 3 year olds 3 years ago. I teach from the weekday early education
curicculum at the First Baptist Church in Cleburne.
My oldest grandaughter, Rachel Dian, is now 17 and a junior. She attended the
Jr/Sr prom and was a knockout in her prom dress. I am very proud of her.
My grandaughter, Ryan Nicole, is now 14 and is a very accomplished Future Homemaker
(now known as FCCLA) student. She and her team (2 freshman boys) attended the
competition in San Angelo---they won and went to state in Dallas---they won again
and will be going to Anaheim, Ca. to compete for nationals. I am very proud of her.

on, now 13 is in competition through 4H with rifle shooting
and archery. He is very good at both. I am also very proud of him.
Desirea Dawn (now 10) and her sister, Samantha Lee (now 7) attend the same
elementary school and have been on the a/b honor roll since starting school in the
first grade. Desirea has played soccer and softball. Samantha played t-ball.
I am very proud of them also.
Life goes on...............................................
I attended the football game that Friday night, however; I was unable to attend the rest of the activities that weekend. It was so good to see so many of our classmates. Edson Marler, Sam Goforth, Jackie Caddell, Pat Smith Rogers, and so many more. I hope to attend our next reunion. My address is: DIAN ROOF/ 4636 W. HWY. 67/CLEBURNE, TEXAS 76033-8402. I am employed by First Baptist Church in the W.E.E. SCHOOL PROGRAM.
(WEEKDAY EARLY EDUCATION) I help my daughters in the afternoons by picking their children up after school and/or school activities.
They play soccer/run track/are in the band (play clarinet)/play softball/play volleyball/ are in Girl Scouts/ and all are on the a-b
honoroll. I am very proud.
