Diana's Story
My favorite thing about Tech was being in the marching band, the friendships, the bus trips to out of town games, and the after football game parties. After High School I attended Indiana University and majored in Spanish, planning to become a Spanish teacher. I loved foreign languages and also took 2 years of French and 1 year of German. Instead God had other plans for me. In 1962 I married my wonderful husband Larry and we had 4 wonderful children. I became a stay at home mom. IU’s Bloomington campus was gorgeous, but the best thing about IU was meeting Jean, a born again Christian who told me about Jesus. She prayed for me through the year...Expand for more
s after she left IU and 5 years after I was married I received Jesus into my heart. That was the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. Larry and I lived in Indianapolis for 24 years, then moved to a farm in Noblesville, then finally we moved to Illinois to be near one of our sons and his family. Larry passed away in July 2017, just 1 month short of 55 years of marriage. About 2 years after he passed I moved to California to be near my 2 daughters and some of my grandchildren and great grandchildren. I live in Costa Mesa, CA and enjoy spending time with family as well as studying and learning new things and teaching people about Jesus.
