Diana's Story
I never thought I would live outside of the Bay Area; but moving to Nevada was the best idea and we built a beautiful home. My horse and husband are both retired and happy. I was a Professor at UC Davis (San Ramon campus) teaching "New Product Development" at the Graduate School of Management up until March 2009 and was hired as Executive Director of the Nevada Opera. Only stayed there a short period. Spent the last 4 years as President of a Nutritional Beverage Company and NOW I AM FINALLY ENJOYING MY PASSION...SINGING PROFESSIONALLY FULL TIME!!!With being a grandma and enjoying travel along with work, life is worth all of the ups and downs. Also, I been the Director of the Northern Nevada Chapter for the COO Business Forum since 2009. Happy health everyone!

ds usually think of me as upbeat and supportive and that is how I would like them to remember me. When life gives us lemons, I like to make lemonade; an unsinkable Molly Brown-type. I love music (classical, opera, musicals) especially performing because it is so interactive which is what I am doing now full time.
I'm also on the Board of the Entrepreneurs Assembly for Northern Nevada and California.
I am blessed with a wonderful family and especially a spouse who is my inspiration and support and my best friend and companion.
When I want to relax, I sing or just sit with my husband and chat or watch a movie. While many of my friends and classmates are retired, I do not see myself doing so for another 10-15 years. Too much energy and too many other goals to attain.
