Diana's Story
Hi my fellow Gladiators! I did not graduate from Gibbs in '79, I graduated from Dixie Holland's evening high school program sooner than I would have from regular school.Working and other obligations caused me to quit regular high school because Gibbs had 9th graders going to school in the afternoon.Remember that? I also moved from 65th Avenue in Pinellas Park to St Pete to be closer to my job.I missed my horses and riding every day,but that's what happens in life sometimes.I went to live in Arizona in July of '79,for 3 years.I saw Shelly Bucholz ( I went to Junior High and Gibbs with her) in Prescott,Az during the 4th of July celebration in '80,which reinforced the saying,"It's a small world".She was living in Tucson and I lived ...Expand for more
in Phoenix.From there I came here to North Carolina where my parents are from,in '82,and have been here ever since.I worked for USDA Food Safety Inspection Service for 21 years.I had to take early retirement in ''08,due to health issues caused by the job.I was married for 8 1/2 years and had a son.After that,I was with a guy for a couple years.We had twin boys in 1996.I have been single most of their lives and probably will stay that way,unless the Lord has other plans for me in that area of my life.I miss my birth state of Florida,but,I will be staying here,I suppose.I just hope God is blessing you all with health and happiness.
