Diana's Story
Well, yesterday was my Birthday. I had a nice time. Two of my favorite friends sent me a Bithday email. They were Margie Resendez and Robert Garcia. I started by going to eat breakfast at Jim's with two of my friends. then we went to a flea market. After that , we decided to go for a drink and be socialable for awhile. I cannot believe that I am now 60 years old. I sure do not feel like 60. What does being 60 feel like anyway? Does anyone really know? hahaha! I am still working , of course, I plan to go to our ( daughter, son-in-law, son, 3 grandkids, and myself)yearly to the coast trip; on July 1st. We will be staying in some condo by Bob Hall Pier. I still enjoy my job at the blood bank, very much.I have recently been in touch with Robert Garcia. Do any of you remember him? I went to the FHA Ball with him way back when we were young and carefree. Those were the days; weren't they? How are you Rolando C? Diana

well, actually my life now is in kind of a dull state. I have really slowed down! all i seem to find myself doing is working and hanging out at HEB haha
this past year 2008 i have reconnected with some of my old classmates thanks to classmates.com. i work at South Texas Blood and Tissue Center here in San Antonio, Texas and I love it. I have been an LVN for 33 years going on 34 this coming Jan.2009. I have a new granddaughter born in Sept. 9th 2008. my lovely daughter is also an LVN and is attending the RN program at this time. Today is my son's Birthday Dec.18, 2008. I named him Daniel after the late Daniel Tellez, who saddly was killed in Viet Nam back in 1968. Daniel is 36years old today. I am still short. only have grown sideways, if you know what I mean! I miss living in Kingsville and I frequently think about moving back when I retire. I still have friends there and want to be close to them in my later years.
