Sydney Opera House
For a $10 donation I got to hold a Wedge-tailed Eagle.  Money well spent.
Visited several animal sanctuaries and rehab. facilities.  Here's a young kangaroo eating from Diana's hand

You go to Australia--gotta see koalas.
"Our" Barred Owl, a frequent visitor to our yard this winter.  He likes perching in the incense cedar trees.
Our roof over the front porch.  Lines are from a heated cable to keep ice cycles from forming. First time this winter we've had to turn it on.
Our waterfall/pond is very popular with the critters lately.
We finally got some decent snow last night (6-8").  Much needed as another drought was/is looming.  Very pretty as well.
We hiked for three hours in this rugged part of the Chiricahua Mountains.  Slept well that night!

We picked up a few life birds on our two week trip to Arizona.  One is a Whiskered Screech Owl, only found in southern Arizona and Mexico.
We were at the top of Mt. Wellington in Hobart, Tasmania and I noticed this wallaby mom with her joey.

Another odd Australian mammal, the long-beaked echidna.  Also in Cradle Mountain, Tasmania.  Like the duck-billed platypus, an egg laying mammal.  Very weird
Just got back from a fishing trip out of Pelican, Alaska. Tiny town a 45 minute float plane ride from Juneau. Three of us from KFalls fished for four days with a fellow from Vermont.  A bucket list experience--brought home
