Life School After graduating from THS, I went to Centralia Community College for two quarters. I got tired of the commute and finished my AA at SPSCC. I transferred to Western Washington University and graduated with a degree in Business with a Finance Concentration. Now, you would think I would be done studying but I decided my student loan debt was not nearly impressive enough. So after taking a few years off of school I began correspondence courses to complete a degree in Accounting. I took the CPA exam in 1999 and have been a complete Accounting geek ever since. Work As many of you know, I was Slaveway Deli Queen for many years. After graduating from WWU I decided I loved Bellingham and stayed up there working at Safeway until the store closed down. Uh-oh. Time to find a real job using my education... I started working at a bank in Bellingham and ended up in the Internal Audit Department. That is when I decided to return to school to pursue a degree in Accounting. I started to miss my family and decided it was time to come home. I made the move back to Olympia and worked for the WA State Auditor's Office for 9 years. I would still be there except... Life ...Expand for more
