Diana's Story
I moved from Chicago to the South Suburbs when I was in fifth grade. I attended Huth Jr. High and Rich Central High then went on to take some classes at Prairie State and DePaul. I was working while attending college and before long I was making good money as an administration supervisor so I never did get that degree. I married in 1984 and moved to northwest Indiana where we had a son named Christopher in 1988. Ten years after Chris was born I filed for divorce and was awarded sole custody of Chris. western suburbs of Chicago in an effort for me to prevent all the gray hairs that the commute to Midway was causing.
I have been lucky enough to take several trips to Europe and Russia and eventually landed a job in the airline industry that meant I was also able to travel throughout the US on business.
One of my sisters moved to New Orleans several years ago and during my frequent visits, I fell in love with the city. When my job was eliminated in July of 2008 I decided to take the severance package and move there. I am now settling in and having a great time here!
