Diane's Story
My old friends probably remember me as being shy and quiet.Needless to say "LIfe" changed that part of me.
I don't know how to handle blowing off steam, something I am not good at.Being at my computer or walking my dog or watching lifetime movies is a way I can relax
I wasn't a wild type of person in school so I never did anything crazy.
I have always lived in the area.I married out of high school in December and moved to Springfield, then moved back to Chicopee. I now live in Indian Orchard, but, I stilll consider myself a Chicopee girl.
I have the cutest little dog "Coco" her main breed is Papillon but she has a Bichon dad and is part Chihuahua (?) She is 3 and very active and crazy. She has quite the personality and a real trip.
The one thing that life did a major change for me is I was widowed after 18 years of marriage at the age of 36.Didn't know how to deal with that and can't say I handled it very well.
I am a hairdresser, but. after I became widowed I needed a more reliable pay...Expand for more
check with benefits so I became a nursing assistant.I have been doing this for 21 years. I can say that it is a love hate job. I still do hairdressing but I do it on the side,. I have cut back on it alot because my job is very stressful and between that and working 3rd shift I am tired alot.
My first crush was my first husband and he died at the age of 37.I was 12 almost 13 when I met him.I am still very close with my inlaws from that marriage.
One thing I would change is I would have gone to school to be a xray or ultrasound tech.
My oldest friend I met at school when I moved here from Granby, I was 8 years old.Linda and I are still friends today. We just really had alot in common.
My first job was at Hermans sporing goods at Baystate West, where I got paid $2.00 an hour as a cashier. What I remember most about it is I hated the job.
I am now remarried since 1997 and have one daughter and 2 grandsons Aidan and Quinn .They are 6 and 3. They are a trip and bring alot of joy to my life.
