Diane's Story
Diane Baia Hale is an award-winning Chicago-based playwright who specializes in historical drama and whose works include "The Marble Muse," "Rake," "The Wisdom of Serpents," "The Lion's Share" and "Dragon's Teeth." Diane was a competitive athlete in the sport of fencing and went on to become the owner and head coach of Lionheart Fencing academy where she trained fencers of all ages to compete at local, national, and international levels.
Diane is married to Philip Douglas Hale, Vice-President of Government Affairs at Loyola University Chicago.
