Daniel's Story
After high school I spent 20 years on active duty with the U.S. Navy where I trained as a journalist. Retired from active duty July 31, 1989 at Fallon, Nevada. At that time I had a weekly radio show at KVLV-FM/AM and worked for a daily newspaper "Lahontan Valley News/Fallon Eagle Standard." After awhile I needed to move back home, so returned to Rowland Heights and got a job with the Civic Center News Group in Los Angeles. In 1992 I became a freelance...Expand for more
writer/editor for Brehm Communications until May 25, 1993 when I went "back home" to the Navy where I started working at the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms as a Public Affairs Officer/webmaster and publisher of a Health Education/Health Promotion newspaper, "The Examiner." I retired from that job May 31, 2013. I am now a full-time gardner, pool cleaner and grandfather... best career yet!
