Diane's Story
I love that it says "remind them who you are.' Does anyone even remember who they were in high school and does that have any correlation with who we are now? Well, here goes ... shy in high school, went by nickname "Dee," long brown hair and green eyes. Ok, .. so I guess there's some correlation since my eye color hasn't changed.
And since then?

in storage, buy a sailboat and sail around for a year. My husband had been primary caretaker of the boys since they were born and I was starting to feel that life was happening so quickly and that I was missing too much. Hence, the trip. So ... although my address says FL it is just a mailing address. We bought the sailboat in Annapolis, MD and are trying to make it down the east coast to someplace warm. Our engine recently broke down so we had a new one installed in Georgetown, SC. We are currently in Charleston, SC (Jan 2014) because there are still some engine issues. Once we get down to FL, who knows. I am blogging about our adventures (the address is Sailing Uncharted Waters - this site doesn't allow websites but it's a .com address) if you have any interest (it's also on my LinkedIn profile). Photos of the boat and what we are doing are there. It has certainly been an adventure so far but no regrets about the decision. It is good to break out every once in a while. We will see what happens after the trip and if we go back to our former life or create a new one.
