Diane's Story

Life I'm now single and looking for that special man to enjoy life/travel with: someone with altruistic interests, who can balance his giving as well as taking, and must have a positive joie de vivre. Timeline: After graduating high school, I attended Everett CC, 67, Seattle CC, 68 (in business at Ballard HS), Clatsop CC, Astoria, OR (72-75), Cornish College of the Arts, 75-76. I was married to Bob Coale from 84-87. We have one daughter, Katy. I worked at Boeing as a drafter/tech aide/clerk for 14+ years. I then attended North Seattle CC in business, 95-96, and recently finished a certificate in Direct Service Provider at Western WA University. I do work advocating for the disabled, cancer patients, and senior outreach (Senior Comp...Expand for more
anion Program) in North Seattle. I am single, enjoying my fish, gardening, sewing, photography, and of course my artwork. I have very ecclectic taste in music, including rock, opera, jazz, classical, alternative. I'm a big film buff, of the classics and latest offerings, esp. Indy films. I am an environmentalist (Audubon, Nature Conservancy, and WashPirg), political activist(a liberal), and pacifist (advocate for world peace and non-violence). I have a thirst for knowledge, and am rediscovering history and science. I'm also very spiritual: studied Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Wicca, Scientology...but don't feel like an alien operating Thetan. I believe Ram Dass's "Be Here Now" and am a bit of an existentialist. So be it!
