Diane's Story
Hi everyone! Where have the years gone? It was so good seeing many of you years ago at a reunion in Parsippany and speaking with so many "old friends"(<<<not ages!) after all these years. It felt like we had all just left Madison High School!!
After receiving a degree in elementary education in 1965, I taught kindergarten in NJ for several years, was married in 1968, and moved to Westford, Massachusetts where I resided until my divorce in 2001. I taught school until my first child was born, and later returned to teaching in a private school for 12 years. While there I taught science, kindergarten, third grade math, art for grades 1-8, and sixth grade language arts. Westford MA was my home for 33 years, Cape Cod from 2001-2006. I then changed locations and moved to the Hampton NH seacoast area. I love it! I often go to the NH lakes region or spend a lot of time along the New England seacoast. outh, all combined making this a very convenient location. After having spent many summers at the Jersey shore, then living on Cape Cod, and now by the NH sea coast, I can be called a "wash ashore"! in many different locations!!
I have three grown children who have blessed me with 7 beautiful grandchildren (three boys and four girls). My one daughter lives in Austria, but we manage to visit each other taking turns every few years. Skype is used often!
I keep very active, hoping to balance everything well. There are endless activities in this area of New England, and I am on the go as much as possible. Concerts, coastal activities, cultural functions, exploring nature, visiting friends, and whatever a new day brings all fill my time. I always have a book handy to fill idle moments.
