Diane's Story
Life
I currently live in Riverside County in Southern California...quite a distance both culturally and geographically from Virginia. I am a wife, a mother of one daughter who is 38, a mother-in-law who loves my son-in-law as much as if he were my own child. I am a grandmother of 4 wonderful kids, a boy named Colby, age 17 and a girl, named Corri, age 16. Reagan, 4, who lives in Texas with her sister Kennedy who is 11 months old. They are the delight of my heart. The older ones live close by and I am able to see them whenever my heart desires...which is quite often.
I have worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years, most recently as a Senior Technical Business Programmer/Analyst. I design, maintain, and upgrade fully integrated automated healthcare computer systems and teach Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists and Laboratory Technicians how to use them. I enjoy what I do immensely. After graduation from High School, I moved to Southern California but did not get my degree until I was in my late 20's - early 30's. I went ba...Expand for more
ck to school late in life and obtained a Computer Science/Information Management degree after my first marriage ended in divorce.
I remained single for approximatley 18 years when the Lord brought the perfect man into my life to be my husband. That was ten years ago and I am blissfully married to the most wonderful man in the world.
I am a devout Christian, teach Sunday School, and children's church, am a member of a wonderful worship team , a solist and also am a youth leader for our Youth Group. I love working with kids. I have accomplished much in this life but the most important thing of all is my walk with my savior, Jesus Christ, for without Him, I am nothing. In the last year my husband and I felt the call of the Lord on our hearts to do more for his kingdom and went back to school for a Theology degree and to be ordained for ministry, We are about a year and a half away from that goal.
I would love to write to anyone who rememembers me from the old days. So if you do...please drop a line or two.
God bless all of you!
