Life
Married at 18 - 1966. Divorced at 24. Two children Sean & Christie. Married 1978 - Joe Thompson, Wonderful guy, Alexandria native. I think we may be soul mates. Eight grandchildren - Michael, Lee, Taylor, Christian, Courtney, Hunter, Jacob & Lauren. Worked briefly in the 60's for United States Marine Corp. Stay at home Mom until divorced. Went into the Insurance industry and have been there ever since. Currently employed at Gilbride Insurance, Alexandria, VA - 15 years. Love my job. rg, Brother Mark lives in old neigborhood on Spring Drive now Spring Road, Sister Jody lives in Haymarket, VA. Mom & Dad passed on. Lots of ups and downs over the years - just life. All in all its been great.
Workplace
Currently I work for a family business. The second one in my career as an independent insurance agent + 25 years. I love dealing with all of my customers whether their demanding or just plain nice. I have always been a talker and want to know about people and their lives and experiences. Being in the insurance industry allows me to do both. I am just looking forward to retiring - Hopefully 8 more years.
