Diane Soltyshak's Story

I have been married to the man I met when I was 16. He is the love of my life and we are still happy after all these years. Been working for the same company for 42 years. Worked my way up to now handling commercial real estate properties for my company. We have large tenants such as Home Depot, Target, etc. I implement all the day to day lease requirements along with managing the employees and doing the accounting. Love dogs and have always had Bichon Frise. We have a retirement home in South Carolina hope to be a permanent home in a couple of years. I have had ups and downs in my life which included losing my older brother which was devastating but ...Expand for more
had a strong family support that got us through the tough times. I thank God everyday that he brought the most wonderful man that helped me through it all. I actually hated high school and until I realized I was not going to get a great job I held off going to college for a year. School bored me and I did not like sitting and listening to someone talking. I am still that way. I get bored when I am still. Finally enrolled and decided accounting was it for me as I remember my high school teacher telling me this was the profession I should go into. Love to travel to Europe. Have been to several countries and hope to continue our travels after we retire.
