Diane's Story
Life
Let's see where do I begin? I am almost finished with college. Didn't decide to attend until 1999. I have three certificates, two internships and two more courses for my BS. I have two grand daughters and one grand son. I will probably be close to retiring before I get the BS. Oh well, the journey was fun. I am enjoying my two grand daughters, one grand son and still find time to be creative with my sewing. At one time I thought that I would have my own sewing business. Didn't happen. I also, dabble in photography and take lots of pictures of my children's children. I like taking walks in the woods, which is easy for me because I live in Maine and the woods are right out the back door. My husband is retired and loves spending time with the g...Expand for more
rand children. I have one daughter living in California and one in London. My son is still living in Maine. Life has had lots of ups and downs and I am still trying to figure out where it will all end. As I get closer to my BS I have decided to start my own business in what else, sewing. I presently work part time as a BHP (Behavioral Health Professional and have three clients. The creative side of me helps me stay sane.
I just graduated from UMA on May 10th, 2008 with a BS in Health & Human Services and passed the CADC, certified alcohol and drug counselor exam. Sewing is still one of my passions, but I need to pay back my student loans. I guess a full time job is what I need for at least another five years. This Just an update on my life.
