Judith's Story
Have had my fill of adventure, yet still dumb enough to be a substitute teacher in the the St. Charles Parish public elementary school system for five years now. No plans to stop soon.
I want to know if anyone remembers me from school. From grade 1 through 12.
Was I a nice person? Was I a bully? Was I even memorable?
I was the fat, no-name outsider. Never in the middle of things and actually liked being an onlooker rather than a participant in most of the things I saw happening around me.
It taught me a lot about the nature of people.
I had a few core friends that I remember fondly, but was never "in" with the in crowd and am not sorr...Expand for more
y about that.
Selma Jr. High was quite an eye opener and the lessons continued into Selma High School.
I do miss some of the people I knew back then.
Moved to New Orleans, La., in 1982, married Pete Schwalb (Adolph Peter Schwalb Jr.). He lived his entire life on Magazine St., went to St. Henry's Elementary, Redemptorist High School and Loyola University in New Orleans. He passed away in February 2002 and I have lived alone since.
Moved out of New Orleans to a small community of Norco, La.
Survived hurricanes staying home alone and have no plans to leave for any future storms.
Still hard headed I guess...lol.
