Life:
I am married 33 years with a 31 yr old son who is married and lives in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh. We have one grand daughter, 2 year old Cadence Noelle!
My hubby, our 6-year old beagle-mix, Petey, & I currently live in Kennedy Twp, having moved in with my mom after my dad's death in June 2007. Since my mom has progressing dementia, life can be a challenge!
Suburban life is very different to the urban neighborhood that I was a part of for 22 years. Although the city politics of Pittsburgh suck, I love the views & convenience that city-living offers, also the opportunities to take part in neighborhood activities!
I have worked in healthcare since 1984, starting out as a Nursing Assistant in nursing homes, then progressing into administrative duties.
I am a computer & political junkie, so if you're looking for good conversation, drop me a line!

rtying than in studying! After a year of non-performance, I decided to drop out & go to work. I returned & took a number of computer courses in the late 90's - early 2000's, but have not earned a degree.
I do enjoy learning, but at this stage of the game, have decided to pick & choose as needed. The Internet is a great resource for research and I can do it right from my home!
Workplace
I currently work for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. I am an Administrative Assistant, Sr. for Toni Darville, the chief doctor of the Infectious Diseases division several other researchers. Life stays very busy as my day begins at 5AM ( 3 buses to & from work, a butal commute!) and typically ends at 11PM. I catch up on sleep & some recreation on the weekends.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have soft jazz, coffee, and some degree of control to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
NCIS! I love that show...the characters are great! The story line is usually Intriguing!
