Diane's Story
Am living in Midland, Ontario.
Started highschool in Innisfail, Alberta. Loved it! (Lived on the Air Force Base at Penhold 1962-1966.) Unfortunately we were posted and moved in April of 1966 to Everett, Ont. Went to Banting Memorial in Alliston for 1-1/2 months.
Moved to Base Borden during the summer months of 1966. Attended Gr. 10 - 12 on the base. People may remember me running the school cafeteria snack bar 68/69 with Pat Gilbert and John Yen.
Married Rick Rewega (Rij) right after highschool (my then boyfriend). Didn't stay married long.
Remarried Stan Dunn, had two children, was widowed and took a long time to pull myself back together.

Really enjoying life and my grandchildren.
I just rejoined classmates after a long absence. I see a lot of names I recognize and am enjoying reading their stories. I wish more people would put their stories in as it doesn't cost anything and it is really nice to reconnect through this medium. Moving every 4 years made it hard to form lifelong friendships and other than a few people who have stayed in the Barrie area, I have no idea where most of the people in my graduating class are.
When I look at recent visitors to the site and see a name I recognize it would be nice to click on their name and see what they are up to and where they are without having to become a "Gold Member".
