Once upon a rime there was a 'girl' who sat playing Hangman with the guy sitting next to her at her high school graduation ceremony. That about sums up my attitude toward high school. I found it very 'cliquey'. My small group of friends was NOT in the "In" crowd. I think we had a lot more fun together than the In crowd did. We made it through without getting pregnant, suspended, or expelled. We didn't make fun of anybody for their appearance, speech impediment, glasses, family financial status etc, etc. We liked the Beatles (while they lasted), movies, swimming and the Catskill Game Farm. We never lacked for something to talk or laugh about. I received a lot of abuse for my height over the years. I had great occasion to thank our Lord for it during my 42 years as an RN.
