Hi, whoever looks here...
I finally forked over the thirty bucks to do this...
Probably getting nostalgic now that my own daughter is now in college, majoring in engineering at UB...
We (my husband Jack and I) are putting two girls through college at once, his daughter Kathleen, and my daughter Danelle. Both with little or no help from our previous spouses, the other parent to the girls. But enough grousing (those who knew me, know that's what I do best)...
We do have two lovely young ladies about to be launched into the world, and as soon as they are, we are ditching this piece of the 'burbs and hitailing ...Expand for more
it out to the country where a mountaintop retreat awaits our permanent residency! Yea!!
And we made it!!! The view from our A frame to the northern Catskills is breathtaking!!! We LOVE IT HERE!!
Never thought I'd be living in a one room chalet w/ a loft for our bedroom. We've got 40 acres of gorgeous countryside, 2000 feet elevation, totally private and away from the rest of the world. Heaven on earth. Too bad I still commute daily into Albany for a government bureaucrat's job. *SIGH* guess you can't have everything. Hi to all my YAF buddies, and friend who knew me in those innnocent days. Peace.
