Diane's Story
Life
I've just retired from my job at the Univ. of Oregon and beginning a second career as a writer. My husband and I are looking forward to traveling to all those places we've wanted to see, here and abroad. We're currently living in Eugene, OR. but may move within a few years to the Portland area to be closer to our children. We're now experiencing life being first time grandparents, and loving every minute of it! Our grandson is the apple of our eye, and he knows it. Being...Expand for more

Workplace
I worked for the Biology Dept. at the Univ. of Oregon in the Administrative Office. I did a lot of work with students and I have to say that was what I enjoyed the most. I supervised work study students, and helped students register for classes, get paid, and answered tons of questions. The thing I miss most about retiring is working with so many bright, intelligent young people. They were great!
