Life Hi Former Crescentites!!! Hasn't this life been an interesting one; definitely different than I expected. I stayed in Calgary until 1987, except for 10 months in 1971-72 in Swift Current, Sask. which was a transfer with Mobil Oil. 1987 moved to Marin County, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California until 2002, when I moved to Nanaimo. My 94 year old mother is in Nanaimo in Assisted Living, my step-father passed away 2 years ago, and my sister now lives in Penticton. My brother and wife live in Victoria. Education-wise I went to Business College after high school and later to University of Calgary for a certificate in Human Resources. My job for the last 17 years of my paid employment was in human resources departments for large corporations (including Petro-Canada in Calgary before I moved to California) as relocation manager....I relocated employees from city to city and country to country. In 2002 I moved to Nanaimo to start a non-profit. Our volunteers took their pets to visit one-to-one with lonely seniors in long-term care facilities. My little dog Hank (who passed away recently) visited the elderly with me, too, and also a very disabled little boy.
