Life
I've been in book publishing for more than thirty-five years, much of it as an editor with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, for which I helped establish its Preservation Press and later served as director. I left in 1990 to start my own company, Archetype Press, which produces coffee-table books for other publishers. You can look me up on Google and find my books on Amazon.com and in stores across the country. We specialize in books on Frank Lloyd Wright and other historic architectural movements.

fter 25 years in Reston to live at the beach. We're now between Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Our daughter, Alison, lives in Philadelphia, with our darling nine-year-old grandson, Lucien.
My husband (Robert Maddex, not Blair's Robert Maddox), an attorney and most recently a writer of legal reference books, lived for a time just steps away from the new Blair High! But he moved away before high school, and I met him in 1963 while we were working for the federal government in the summer. I graduated from Northwestern University in 1965, the year we were married.
