Diane's Story
Life
After graduation, I spent one year at Broome Tech in Construction Technology. Then I spent three years in NYC working for a life insurance company and going to night school. On to Norman Oklahoma, where I went to OU and ran a tavern, graduating in political science finally in 1966. I stayed for my masters in Latin American Studies and joined the Air Force in 1968. After 20 years, my husband and I retired to Hawaii, the Big Island and Molokai. We spend much of our time as members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We have one son, Eug...Expand for more
ene, who is still in College, and I have four step children, Brian, Bruce, Erin, and Adam. The first three live in the MD-VA area, are all married and have a total of seven children plus Adam, is married, has one child, and presently lives in Northern California. We spend part of each year on the mainland in our "penthouse" on the Magothy River near Ananpolis or in our motorhome or now our condo in St Augustine. We also have a home in Fiji, in Savusavu, on Vanua Levu which we try to visit once or twice every year. We aren't house poor!
