Diane's Story

My husband (Frank Safran, '60) and I co-found the Attention Deficit Disorders Institute in Westport, Ct. ADDI is a mental health facility that both diagnoses and treats persons dealing with ADHD. This keeps us busy working with individual children, adolescents and adults. We have seven grandchildren spread across the USA, so we travel frequently to visit with ...Expand for more
them. I authored a book on the Use of Art Therapy with the ADHD population. This has lead to speaking engagements through-out the USA, Asia and the Czech-Republic. I have also contributed chapters to several books on the traumatic impact of bullying on children. When I am not working, visiting grandchildren or gardening I am busy making silver jewelry.
