Diane's Story
After graduation, I went to college at Western Washington State College in Bellingham. I was there for two years and then dropped out because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. I ended up moving to Maui, HI in 1972 and stayed there for almost 15 years. I met my husband there. We've been married for over 33 years. My 4 children were born on Maui. here ever since. Atlanta has lots of trees but no mountains. I have missed the mountains. On Maui we lived on Haleakala, which is 10,000 feet. It was beautiful but was getting very expensive. I would like to move again, but with my family here, it would be difficult. We have 2 beautiful granddaughters that we see as much as possible. I have a great family and that's what matters most to me.
