Diane's Story
I no longer live in Sarasota. I have been in Tampa for over 22 years. I lost my father when I was 19 and my mother five years ago. My brother Tom (Class of 73), lives in Pasco County with his beautiful wife Dianne.
I was hurt in the line of duty, March 1995. I worked for Publix Markets Inc., for 12 1/2 years and then went to work for The Department of Labor and Employment Security. hat were administrated at the state level. I got promoted and went to work for a HRS program that was later transferred to Department of Juvenile Justice. I supervised approimately 1 to 5 staff and 1 to 50 juvenile offenders. After getting hurt, having two major back surgeries, I haven't worked since 1997. My conditions worsen as time goes by. I most likely will be in a wheelchair full time soon.
I try to keep a good attitude and would love to hear from those of you who remember me.
