Diane's Story
Life
I have been married for 51 years and live in Sacramento. My husband and I are both retired.We spend our time enjoying our home, our yard, our friends and doing various crafts. I enjoy taking care of my flower and herb gardens. Don, likes creating things with wood. When he is not playing in his workshop, he is either gardening, or spending time helping friends with their various home projects. We have no children. I love to cook, and Don loves to BBQ. njoy having friends over for some sort of get together. We don't do a lot of traveling, but enjoy doing things close to home, day trips or a few days away.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we weren’t able to celebrate our 50th anniversary with friends and family. We had a quiet evening at home.
Three months after celebrating our 52nd anniversary, my Don passed away in March 2023. I am now trying to get my life back on track. Reading a lot and doing small craft projects.
