k. Latest trip May 2013 - walked 142 miles along the Camino de Santiago in Portugal and Northern Spain. In April 2013 reconnected with Brazilian exchange student Edilana while she was visiting in L.A. on business with a friend.

What lazy bums!
Canned 6 cups of peach preserves today. The type we have are not good for regular canning. Check out the oversize cherry tomatoes. Now have some type of volunteer melon or squash growing where I buried compost.
now the peach tree. It's a shame that we will have to take it out as it is uplifting the concrete sidewalk and foundation of the house, not to mention the block wall.

These just arrived within the last several days. we only discovered them tonight. Now what do we do? They love the mint flowers.
Had Phoebe and her parents plus T&I O'brien for dinner tonight. Made roll-up lasagne. Tomato/pasta sauce from the garden tomatoes. Seasoning in the cheese courtesy of herbs from my planter boxes. Rick made the boxes, I pain

Woke up to frost on the lawn Friday. Can't remember the last time this happened.
Got the shed cleaned and organized; camping stuff on the left, gardening stuff on the right.

Happiness is spending an entire afternoon with your granddaughter. She takes after her father - likes to play in the Tupperware cabinet.
