Dianna's Story
In August of 1973, I married my high school sweetheart, and the love of my life, Thad (Thaddeus) Pelton. Together we had, and raised, two beautiful daughters, Amber and Kelley. We currently have five grandchildren!!! Still can't believe that one!
In September of 1974 we moved to a small town near Bakersfield, CA and have been here ever since. The desert...UGH!! We tried twice to get out of here by moving to Billings, MT. But, it was too late. Family's here. So, waved good-bye to Montana once and for all.

In February of 2006 our oldest daughter, Amber, passed away as a result of child birth complications, so I retired from Medical Billing to raise our newest family member, Keira.
Thad is a Field Supervisor for a major oil company. He's been in the oilfields since leaving Oroville.
Although we've been here since 1974, Oroville is still home. We miss the trees, the lake, the smell of the lumber mills. The olive plant smell...not so much, but even that beats the odor of the oilfields!! Except on payday....LOL
