Dianne's Story
Lived in D'lo and attended Harper (1st through 6th) and went to Piney Woods 7th-11th. Went from 11th grade to Tougaloo College 1970-74 and Jackson State University, where I received my Ph.D. in higher education. Currently divorced and work at JSU. Best friend at Harper was Alice Harper; best friend at Tougaloo was Pat Brandon.
My favorite way to relax is to travel. I like short and frequent trips, but manage to include an extended stay sometimes.

t his father, my great-grandfather, who was a slave. His love and hope for his family, his determination for his family to be educated and belief in God inspired me. It gave me greater insight into the roots of my family's life and being.
I will break out with a 'fro, even dreds, but I'm conservative on the dress!
My best friend would tell you I'm a fool, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as mean. Sometimes I'm brash and hard to get a long with!!! (Maybe my ex-husbands would say that's true.) Really, I'm genuine and lots of fun!
