Dianne's Story
Life
i have been out of NJ for almost 7 years now, and for the past 2 years i've been at ECU. i visit home when i can b/c my family still live there. i'm currently working as a spanish translator and i moonlight as a VIP bartender. to date i've recovered from being handicapped and learned to walk again, become a scientific scuba diver with NOAA, got married (twice!) in hawaii, and i'm going to be finishing with my MS in oceanography at UH-Manoa.
College
i never did the typical "college" life....Expand for more
.. i've attended 3 schools technically. Central Piedmont CC and UNC in Charlotte, and ECU. i'll also be attending UH-Manoa on Oahu.
Workplace
i've been paying the bills as a spanish translator at 2 cell phone companies, by day, and moonlighting as VIP bartender in several clubs.
Military
i married a submariner that served as a sonar tech on the Cheyenne out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I am so proud of my husband's contributions to our country, but even more thankful he's back home with me now!
