Dianne's Story
I've lived in the Chicago area ever since CCHS, but I think of my days there often. For example, every December I remember the Glee Club tours -ÃÂÃÂ I still know the alto parts to all of those songs.
My friends think of my high school as mostly a weird and wonderful place:
"Failure is not an option?" -ÃÂÃÂ our guy said that.
Casey Biggs ? - my high school.
Jim Joyce? - my high school.
Jackie Calmes? - my high school.
Alicia Keys' Mom? - my high school.
And yes, even the documentary about the clergy sex scandal that was nominated for an academy award - my high school.

As for work: After CCHS launched me to DePaul, I emerged with a masters in biology. My career since then has centered on laboratory robotics. I've traveled to hundreds of labs to help scientists automate their experiments & assays. It was fun having a front row seat during the Human Genome Project, and crime lab work also proved interesting. The overwhelming majority of the scientists are bright, diligent, and hard-working. But ask me & I'ÃÂÃÂll tell you a place where you don't want to get arrested!
Now the corporation is closing our site, so I only have a job until the end of the year. I'm not ready to retire yet, so I'm currently looking for my next adventure.
I can't wait to see you and to participate in the most unique silent auction I'ÃÂÃÂve ever seen. Very impressive!
