Dianne's Story
My husband and I are raising our grandson Quinn who is currently thirteen years old and will be entering high school. He has lived with us for 11 1/2 years. I still work and have no immediate plans to hang up my heels and retire. My husband, a retired San Jose Firefighter has been retired for eight years so I have a first hand glimpse into what retirement looks like. Ugh! and I am the current President of the Hayward Education Foundation. That is hard to believe that I am still connected in Hayward. Not what I had planned on but life is ever evolving. My youngest grandson, Max just turned five and I miss seeing him. He lives with my daughter Kim and her husband Mike in Seattle. He is a little genious, already into periodic tables and the universe. I am not surprised with his two very smart parents.
