Dick's Story

Left high school in 1966 to join the Navy. Honorably discharged in 1970. Married "Boogaloo Sue" Brauss from Parsippany, had two daughters. While in the military I got my GED, then an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from the County College of Morris. Worked for the Daily Record in Morristown for a few years, then on to other newspapers in New Orleans, Florida, back to New Jersey at the Dover Advance, then to Wa...Expand for more
shington D.C. at the start-up of USA TODAY. Moved to Florida in 1988, and there I stayed for 18 years. Retired to Richmond, Virginia. Sue died in early 2016. If you knew me back then, you know me now... I haven't changed much. I attended the 30th & 40th reunions, loved seeing everyone. I guess I was technically a crasher since I quit high school and didn't truly graduate with you guys, but you're still my best teen memories.
