Dick's Story
After graduating from EHS I attended college for a year. in 1965 I enlisted in the Navy. I spent much of my 4 year hitch in and around the waters off the coast of Vietnam. i attended SDSU on the GI bill. i skipped SDSU graduation ceremonies to attend the 10th reunion of EHS class of 1964 and i am glad i did. it was a lot of fun. i moved to Oregon from San Diego in 1977. e mountains around Mt Hood. i live in Portland now. i work for Volunteers of America Oregon. I am out stationed in Oregon's Child Welfare Department. I work with parents whose children are in the care of Child Protective Services because their parent's lives are negatively affected by drug and alcohol abuse.
I love my job and I love living in Portland!
I hope to see all of you in November at the 50th reunion.
