Dijuanna's Story
Life
I now live in San Antonio because my husband was called back to service in Dec. 2005 and is serving in Iraq. I love it here in San Antonio, Texas. We used to live south of Alvin in a small town called Angleton. Prior to moving here I traveled the world with my husband who served in the Army for 22yrs, (Georgia, Tennesee, Virginia, South Carolina, California, Louisianna, Berlin Germany, Holland and North Texas). I have two children, a daughter named April Nikole that is 25 yrs and a son named Kristopher Lee that is 24 yrs old. My son and his wife are in the Army and now in Iraq. My daughter and her husband live 2 miles from me and have a beautiful baby girl named Aryanna Nikole born on June 7, 2004 and weighed 1 lb 6 oz's, she was 17 weeks premature. God has blessed us and she is now 9 moonths old and weighs over 15 lbs. I am and have been happily married to my second husband for 23 years November 2. College
I attended Brazosport College and recieved my Associates Degree in Business Management.
Military
2005 December 4th my husband was called back to active duty to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently over there serving just north of Bagdad. He is due to return to the states sometime at the end of April to the Middle of May 2007. Please keep him and all the troops in your prayers.
My husband was in the Army and Retired from there after 22 years. Have seen many places and we were stationed in Berlin Germany when the BERLIN WALL came down. I met President Reagan when he stood next to the wall and screamed for Gorbachev to "TEAR DOWN THIS WALL", an experience I would have told you that you were crazy, if you told me I would have been there to witness it.
