Dina's Story
Life
After graduation I attended Texas Tech University, graduating cum laude in 1984 with a B.A. in Spanish and French. My senior year at Tech I met my husband, José López, a native of Puerto Rico. We moved to Odessa, Texas where I taught H.S. Spanish and French for one year at Permian H.S. We then moved to Puerto Rico, where we lived for ten years before returning to the States. legal and technical fields. We have three children. The first two were born in Puerto Rico and the third was born in Lubbock, Texas. We now live in McKinney, Texas on a couple of acres. We have learned how to keep a vegetable garden, raise chickens and other animals in the last few years. We have become active in a Tae Kwon Do gym near our home; our two boys and I are world certified black belts. In the next couple of months our daughter will also be certified. We compete at the Olympic sport level.
