Dina's Story
Let's see if I can put 40+ years into a few paragraphs. After graduation in 1968, I went to ASU and got a B.S. in Marketing. and then got married. We had three children-boy, girl, boy. I was a stay at home Mom and loved it. We both were very involved with the kids clubs, church activities and sports. My oldest son in still in Prescott Valley and works in Prescott. They have my first grandchild-a girl and soon to have a boy. My other two children live in the valley. One in San Tan and the other in Mesa. My youngest son has my other grandchild-a boy. My first husband left me after 26 years of marriage.
So that started a new life for me. I went back to ASU and got a certificate in Non-Profit Management. I worked for several years at the Child Crisis Center, East Valley. I was on my own for 10 years and then met my second husband.

ons. We went to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, Germany, Italy, and my most favorite place-Malta (southwest of Italy). We've also been able to travel to many cities in the USA to conventions and research studies. Unfortunately we did not make it together for long. He left me this 1st of April (no it wasn't a April Fools joke). I learned a lot from him because of his associations with Hemophilia, Huntington's Disease, Diabetes, and several of his adopted children with mental health issues.
I worked in a psychiatrist office for several years before my second marriage, then retired. Recently I am doing substitute teaching in Mesa and once in awhile substituting in another psychiatrist office as office manager. I am also a Board Member of my HOA trying in keep it simple and not let it get overbearing.
It is fun reading everyone's story. Mine is nothing like what I would have expected!
