Dinah's Story
Current Life
I'm now retired but I'm still living in Nashville because my daughter and son-in-law's careers are here. However I try to make it back to Kingsport as often as possiable and always have to spend a few weeks back home camping every year. Scarlet O'Hara may have gotten her strenght from the red earth of Tara - personaly, I get mine from the mountains of East TN.
Past Life
After graduation I married, had my children and got a divorce. I worked at Eastman for 8 yrs then moved to Nashville in 1985. And I'm still here. lol
My Kids
I have an awesome 31 year old daughter and son-in-law, with an amazing hearts and personalities. They are IT specialists for seperate major companies BUT still find time to check on this 'Old Lady' every day....Expand for more
(They only live a mile away.) I am so proud of them both. My youngest daughter died sortly after birth.
My Jobs
I worked for Homeland Security untill I was injuredin the line of duty. Before that I spent 14 years in the medical field. I spent 10 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center followed by 4 yrs. with Tennessee Donor Services (a nonprofit Organ and Tissue transplant organization). When I first came to Nashville in '85 it was to help open the General Jackson and work for Gaylord Entertainment. But after a few years I decided to go back to school and change careers. From the entertainment field to the medical field to Federal Security! Talk about shifting gears! LOL! But those of you who know me best aren't surprised at that are you. lol
