Dixie's Story
I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My favorite way to relax is to get caught up in a really interesting book. I can shut out the world.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a book, a computer, and a phone to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My inspitation comes from my kids. They are awesome! My two grandsons are pretty great, too!
My obsessions are; cats, reading, grandkids, nails.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a couple more bedrooms and bathrooms. My dream home would be six or seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, library, oasis.
I have learned to be patient (doesn't always work), to listen, to appreciate my kids.
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to investments, then spend the rest o...Expand for more
n my family, close friends and charities.
My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be too old to do anything fun. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm fun to be around, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stand offish.
Comfort!!
I share my home with 3 kids, 2 grandkids, a dog, and a chameleon, which I find very hectic, but cool because I get to see them every day.
In 10 years, I hope to be financially ready to retire. I'm going to get there by winning the lottery.
I have 3 tattoos, my nose pierced, 4 earrings in one ear and 2 in the other. I like to dye my hair different colors a lot.
My first job was at the neighborhood mowing lawns, where I got paid 5 to 10 dollars a yard. What I remember most about it is it was better than babysitting.
