Dolores's Story
I always thought I would be a teacher or a full time mother when I graduated from high school but as it turns out I was a full time single mother while attaining my Business Management/Human Resources degree. I guess I always expected to stay in El Paso but it was not part of God's plan for that to happen so here I am in Las Cruces. My 2 grown children are my biggest blessings and in spite of some of the obsticles I have been faced with throughout my life, I HAVE been very blessed. I have a year left before I am eligible to retire at which time I will need to decide if I want to do it or just keep working -- I believe I will do the later. I am not sure wh...Expand for more
at most of the people who crossed my path during my high school years may remember about me but even I surprised myself when I found that being a homemaker, working on my crafts, and enjoying the simple things in life have brought more joy to me than I would have ever imagined. I look forward to the day that my children have children so that I can share in the joys of being a grandparent. The one person I miss the most from high school is Anita Gonzales -- she WAS my dearest friend during my time that time. My wish for all of the people who were a part of my life during this time is that you are where you hoped to be and that you are happy in your lives.
