Don's Story
Life
Upon graduating from UT Austin in 1978, wanderlust or some such thing, drew me from TX to NM, LA, IL, PA and then, finally back to Charlotte, NC--which we now call home.
Married to the former Lisa M. Berghs of Topeka, KS since 1984, like Bill & Hillary, we had one child--our daughter, Rachel. Upon her marriage to son-in-law, Bradley, they soon presented us with a grandson, Thomas James "TJ" McClain, in 2011, who was then followed by his little brother, Donald Clayton "Donnie" McClain, in 2013. Being a grandparent is an unanticipated delight. You'll see, if you have not already done so.

persuade others. If you happen to possess an ardent nature that is sheathed in mid-1960's parochial school values, all the while exhibiting the charm of a Philadelphia sports fan coupled with the humility of a Texan, then you too could find a surprise at the end of your rainbow...
To date, I have enjoyed the good fortune of a supportive wife, a talented daughter, a colorful family, capable medical practitioners and uncommon luck in the caliber of friends, co-workers and customers who have joined me, for a brief or a long while, on this occasionally challenging, but never boring, journey.
So, I can't complain. Although as a native of "The City of Brotherly Love," it is unlikely that I will cease from doing so altogether!
